Problem when installing Battlefield 3 from disc
If you try to install BF3, it will ask you to install Origin first. Then eventually it connect to internet to download 11GB BF3 files. I know it’s a bit frustration when you have slow internet connection that takes you about 6-12 hours. No worries!
Here are the solution :
1) Download the latest Origin (http://www.origin.com/download) **If you have already installed the Origin from the disc, please uninstall it and download the latest version.
2) Autorun from disc
3) Login and redeem the code
4) Wait for a moment and notice the speed will up to 4MB.
5) Finish
6) Enjoy your game!

1) Uninstall the game
2) install the latest origin
3) put the disc
4) let it run till 4-8MB speed

If you have the disc you can install it quite easy from there,
and orgin doesn’t say its downloading when installing from disc it actually says “installing”,
all you have to do is follow the instructions on the “installing the game” section on the short manual that comes with it
For you all i did was install origin from the disc self update, then follow the instructions which are
All windows operating systems Vista and 7
1.go to Start > Run,
Type in (the CD Drive) EG E:\Autorun.exe
hit enter it will then come up with the disc install menu
and ask to use origin to help install.
Im currently installing now after having a look on the net, and thought to myself (like anyone else these days, “Yeah just a standard put disc in run disc install play”) ill look at the install instructions and there’s the solution.

I installed the latest version of Origin and followed the rest of your advice. When completed and go to play, i get an error message… http://battlefield.battlelog.com cannot be found. What is this and how can i fix it? It is the same message i also got before i followed what you suggested. Thanks for any help you can give me :)
I just had this problem but fixed it an easier way.
1 – Install Origin from disc.
2 – Cancel the game’s download.
3 – Restart origin.
4 – Run the installer from disc again.
Worked for me.

Please help me! I installed Origin and uninstalled the game before I installed the latest update, and it’s still asking to reinstall again. It says “Ready for install” I click it and it asks again. Is something wrong with origin on my PC? Or is it the game is not good enough for it. Anyway, whoever has any clue what to do. PLEASE TELL ME! Because, I want to play this game REALLY bad!. Install the latest Origin first from the web, then only insert the CD to install.

I tried the first solution,itz working.Am having a download speed of 8MB.Installation got over then itz going to another set of dowload for updates for about 4GB.Whez this gonna b over,itz my second day on installing it.If am cancelling the download for updates,its taking me to Battlelog website where am getting the option of quick match etc..But clicking on it shows a pop up stating “u need to install game first”.What the f…k is it.Please help me out

OMG YOU ARE THE BEST IT REALY WORK…Fuck the MW3. When i bought it i got 2 CDs in box and i hoped I will need it to install but I needed to download it.I was like OMFG for what the hell does 2nd. CD serve then???!!
You have to download an update that is 4.5GB and your download speed is random…

my game installs to 46% then tells me there is a “DISK READ ERROR” and stops installing its not my computer cuz i does the same thing on my mates computer. i have swapped disks at the shop and the new disk does the same thing. i am very confused and need help. what do i do?
